Atmospheric synths, electronic drums and funk-tinged basslines all lay the foundation for shimmering guitars and dual-lead vocals. If Two Door Cinema Club (somehow) got into a disco dance-off with The National then Almost Ghosts would be the sound of the winning blows.
The Dublin-based trio made their live return at the end of 2014 supporting Youth Mass in a sold-out Whelan’s a mere six months after a major lineup change that saw them shift from being a four-piece rock band to an indie/electronic trio.
Almost Ghosts are Mike Daly (vocals, guitar, programming), Andy McClelland (vocals, guitar, synth), and David Dooley (bass, synth, programming).
